Image Compression & Resize is more than one action.
Compress static JPG and PNG images and resize their pixel dimensions locally in your browser. Set a 20 KB, 50 KB, 100 KB or 200 KB limit, then check the actual bytes and pixels. Results that cannot meet both requirements are clearly marked.
Check both the pixel dimensions and the file size requested by the receiving system. Fixed dimensions will not shrink to meet a size limit.
Apply one upper limit to several static photos. Review actual sizes and download all successfully processed valid images.
Keep PNG transparency, or explicitly choose JPG and review its white background. Check pixels and KB separately.
Compress Images to a Target KB Size & Resize Pixels
The workspace comes first; use this section when you need the full process.

- 01Add JPG or PNG images
Add up to 10 static images. Check the source orientation and content first.
- 02Set the size and pixel requirements
Enter a file size limit and choose its unit, then optionally set a width, height or fixed box. PNG will not silently change to JPG.
- 03Process locally in your browser
A limited set of candidates is generated from the source and checked by actual bytes. Pixel reduction is tried only when enabled and dimensions are not fixed.
- 04Review and download
Check the image, actual pixels, bytes and target status. Download all successfully processed valid images individually or together as ZIP, including over-limit results. Failed or unfinished files are excluded.
What should you know first?
Check processing location, input limits and output before you begin.
- 01Files and previews stay in this browser. Processing is free with no sign-in. Static JPG/JPEG and PNG are supported; animation is not.
- 02Pixel dimensions and file size are separate requirements. 1 KB = 1,000 B and 1 MB = 1,000,000 B. A result can be smaller than the limit.
- 03PNG keeps transparency and does not use a JPEG quality setting. Transparent areas become white only when you explicitly choose JPG.
- 04Fixed pixels, clarity and a very small byte limit may be incompatible. Selection covers the verified candidates from this run, with no guarantee that every image can meet the target or reach a global optimum.
